Join us in the garden as we bring a splash of color into the winter season. Val Schirmer, founder of Three Toads Farm, will demonstrate how to arrange, care for, and force the bloom on beautiful Amaryllis and Paperwhite tabletop gardens all from the comfort of our cozy Haymarket Garden Shop. You will leave this event with your very own tabletop garden ready to bloom in just days! We will also be rolling out our product line from Three Toads Farm with a special discount for attendees of the workshop including pre-assembled single bulb gardens, triple bulb gardens, and all-in-one Amaryllis forcing kits. Shake off the winter blues with a pop of color in your home this season and grab a gift for someone you want to share the joy of gardening with by giving them our all-in-one Amaryllis forcing kit which comes wrapped in a bow with care instructions attached.

ABOUT OUR PARTNER
Val Schirmer founded Three Toads Farm in 1997, a small batch specialty cut flower farm in Winchester, KY which was named by Martha Stewart Weddings as one of the Top 10 Farmer-Florists in the US. Val is president of the Association of Specialty Cut Flower Growers (ASCFG) – an organization created 37 years ago to educate, unite and support commercial cut flower growers and now has nearly 3,000 members in North America and around the world.

Val specializes in “all things bulbs” and is an expert in sourcing and forcing superior-quality Amaryllis and Paperwhites, along with hardy spring bulbs, and using them to create tabletop bulb gardens that are literal works of art—and also teaches home gardeners and commercial growers how they can do it too!
