Meet Grandview Farm.

Grandview Farm is a family owned farm just outside Hodgenville, Kentucky, guided by a belief we deeply share at Haymarket. Food should be honest, thoughtfully produced, and rooted in care for the land. Their work is a true expression of the farm to table connection, from pollinator habitat to pantry.

Their journey began with a desire to replace processed sugar with something more natural, leading them to honey and, ultimately, to the vital role pollinators play in a healthy food system. With a background in ecosystem restoration, Grandview Farm has intentionally planted native landscapes and established dedicated pollinator habitat, creating an environment where bees and the land can truly thrive.

That stewardship shows up clearly in their products. Their honey is raw and unfiltered, never heated beyond natural hive temperatures and only lightly strained to preserve pollen, enzymes, and beneficial nutrients. The result is honey that reflects its place, floral sources, and season, offering a depth of flavor that heavily processed honey simply cannot.

Alongside honey, Grandview Farm grows native American elderberries, a powerful fruit long valued for its wellness benefits. Harvested with care and handled minimally, their elderberry offerings reflect the same commitment to land stewardship and thoughtful production. We’re proud to share Grandview Farm’s honey and elderberry products on our shelves. Thoughtfully grown, minimally processed, and gathered with purpose.

Meet MadHouse Vinegar.

MadHouse isn’t your modern-day vinegar manufacturer. Not only do they produce world-class artisanal vinegar, but they do it the old-fashion way by using product from local businesses that would otherwise be wasted.

By using waste from local breweries, cider houses, vineyards, and distilleries, MadHouse Vinegars have a distinct taste that reflect the Ohio Valley region that they are made in. Their partnership with the local community creates a more sustainable culinary ecosystem and a more vibrant flavor palate.

We’re proud to carry a variety of their vinegars on our shelves, including apple cider vinegar, dark malt vinegar, basil vinegar, and more. Stop in-store today to try a bottle yourself.

Meet Snowville Creamery.

We chose Snowville as our dairy provider for a few key reasons:

Snowville Creamery’s cows are grass grazed, eating only non-GMO feed and forage. This is better for the cows, better for you, and better for our planet.

More uniquely, all of Snowville’s products come from cows tested to have only A2/A2 genetics. What does that mean exactly?

A2 is the milk protein cows produced before they were first domesticated over 10,000 years ago. Research has shown A2/A2 cow’s milk to be easier to digest than the A1 milk that is predominantly consumed today. All human milk is A2, so it is naturally recognized by the body and properly digested – unlike A1 protein which the body sees as a toxin and works to remove.

It’s because of these extra steps Snowville takes to ensure the all-around best product, that we chose to present their milks to you. Learn more about Snowville Creamery on their website.
